Veterans Day 2025, celebrated on November 11, honors the service of millions of U.S. military members.

This year, dozens of restaurants, retailers, and attractions are offering free meals, discounts, and special perks to veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists, and their families.

Here’s a guide to the best deals and how to claim them.

 

Restaurants Offering Free Meals

Many national chains offer free food and drinks with valid military ID:

  • Applebee’s: Free meal from a special menu (dine-in).

  • Denny’s: Free Original Grand Slam, 5 a.m.–12 p.m.

  • Chili’s: Free Veterans Menu entrees.

  • IHOP: Free Red, White & Blueberry pancakes or combo.

  • Outback Steakhouse: Free three-course Australian meal, Nov 10–11.

  • Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night, free food 4 p.m.–close.

  • Olive Garden: Free entree from a special menu (dine-in).

  • Texas Roadhouse: Free meal vouchers valid through May 2026.

  • Starbucks: Free tall (12 oz) coffee for veterans, military, spouses.

  • Wendy’s: Free breakfast combo, no purchase necessary.

  • In-N-Out Burger: Free burger, fries, and drink.

  • California Pizza Kitchen: Free entree and drink, plus BOGO coupon.

  • Cracker Barrel: Free Sunrise Pancake Special.

  • Connors Steak & Seafood: 50% off main courses.

  • Margaritas Mexican Restaurant: 50% off main course.

  • Buffalo’s Cafe: 25% off dine-in food bill.

  • Casa do Brasil (TX): 50% off.

  • Biggby Coffee: $1.99 for any 16 oz beverage.

  • Joe’s Crab Shack & Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: 20% off dine-in.

  • Brick House Tavern + Tap: 20% off food.

How to Claim Veterans Day Deals

Most offers require proof of military service:

  • Military ID Card (active duty or retired)

  • VA Benefits Photo ID Card

  • Veterans ID Card or driver’s license with veteran status

  • DD-214 (if no other ID is available)
