Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits follow a set payment schedule each month.
For February 2026, some beneficiaries will receive their payments earlier than usual due to calendar adjustments.

February 2026 Social Security Payment Schedule
Most retirees and SSDI recipients receive benefits on Wednesdays based on their birth date:

Wednesday, February 11: Born between the 1st and 10th

Wednesday, February 18: Born between the 11th and 20th

Wednesday, February 25: Born between the 21st and 31st
SSI and Special Payment Dates
Not all beneficiaries follow the Wednesday schedule:

SSI recipients: February payments will be issued early on Friday, January 30, since February 1 falls on a Sunday

Pre-1997 retirees and SSI + Social Security recipients: Payments will arrive on Tuesday, February 3

March SSI payments will also be sent early on Friday, February 27
